(129) Omega/Chandra Symbols: Virgo 16 - 20

Phase 34. Forget Thyself (Lamed Hay Chet)

Angel: LEHAHIAH (Lay-HA-hee-YAH) Obedience

Virgo 16. A woman cutting the thorns off roses. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting /Experimental

(Degree Angel: YEIAYEL (YAY-ah-YEL) Stop Fetal Attraction, Fame, Renown)

You do whatever you can to make life easier, both for yourself and other people. You see what stands between a person and the fulfillment of their desires, and then try to remove these obstructions. Such work can be difficult and even hazardous. Sometimes if might be better if people did their own work – which is something for you to always keep in mind. And sometimes what seems negative is actually serving an important purpose.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A jar of camphor crystals.” Camphor is used homeopathically to clear the vibrations of other substances. It burns with a white flame, and negates negative energy, just as the woman of the Omega Symbol is attempting to clear the dangerous sharpness of the rose stems. To want to do these clearings and cleanings is high-minded, but the possible difficulty of doing so is that you might negate or clear away an experience that is needed or that has some value that, once it is denied will be missed. And, of course, if it is something the soul needs, it will just keep coming back over and over until it is addressed and assimilated. So the key here is to use this power of purification cautiously and wisely.

Pleiadian Symbol: An old monkey sitting on the stops of an abandoned temple.

Azoth Symbol: The sun leeching oil from rose petals into water.

Seed degree: Libra 6. On a long voyage many icebergs encountered. (Omega symbol). Steering our way through life's dangers and obstructions, we learn how to soften everything so that love becomes increasingly accessible.

A baby with two sets of teeth. (Chandra Symbol). Becoming aware of whatever we need, both inwardly and outwardly, to further our growth, we learn to clear away all that which is extraneous or superfluous so that the truths of spiritual reality are more perceivable.

Fulfillment degree: Capricorn 14. A woman restoring an ancient textile. (Omega Symbol). Softening all that which is sharp in life allows us then to carry out the sensitive and delicate work of restoring our vision of spiritual reality.

Beads carved from human bone. (Chandra Symbol). The intensity of our connection to the light wards off all negativity, and leads us to be able to carry the thought of death in our being in a way that is encouraging and supportive.

Oracle

Sages had argued for centuries about the true nature of rose thorns. Some say they have evolved for the purpose of protection, others that the thorns were actually parasites that grew on the rose stems and could not possibly be an actual part of the roses. For roses are the flowers of love, they reasoned, and how could love have anything to do with a thorn?

The truth is that the thorns are an actual part of the rose, though the rose's motive for having them is quite innocent. The flowers are only seeking to snag a few drops of blood now and then – to nourish their roots.

Virgo 17. A scientist discovers the secret of time travel. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Sensitive

(Degree Angel: MELAHEL (MAY-la-HEL) Sharing the Flame, Healing Capacity)

You have much to communicate to other people, but the question is whether or not they are ready to receive your ideas. You’re able to see beyond limits and by doing so gain a very broad perspective on existence. People, though, can be quite attached to limits, because boundaries make them feel safe. So you need to be careful about when, where and how you share what you know – so that it does the most good.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “An old bald woman talking to her dog.” The woman's bald head signifies a mind freed of thoughts. She can communicate with the dog from pure instinct, and receive back the dog's messages. In the past, when a little girl, she had the instinctive nature of the dog, which became later overlaid with intellectuality and objectivity, which has now faded away, returning her to her former state and allowing her to recontact her own animal nature more directly. This is, in essence a sort of time travel – returning to the past in the future.

This degree is about reconnecting with the ground of one's being, and communing with one's source. Doing so creates a clearer perception of the way one has developed and the course that's been taken. It is a way of both assessing and grounding one's overall evolution.

Pleiadian Symbol: Lava, as it flows into the sea, is creating new land.

Azoth Symbol: In the far north, sailors come to an uninhabited island that is strangely warm.

Seed degree: Libra 18. Waking in the night, a man feels an earthquake. (Omega Symbol). A deep intuitive awareness of the subtle shifts going on in the collective reality allows one to perceive the bigger patterns at work in life, and the ways they might be changed for the better.

A woman carefully counting the beans in a jar. (Chandra Symbol). Knowing that those facts which may seem unimportant to others could be meaningful to the self, we set up a rapport with those beings and energies with which we feel a heart connection.

Fulfillment degree: Aquarius 14. During the rain, a bird is heard singing. (Omega Symbol). Understanding more and more deeply the workings of process as it unfolds through our evolution, we sense the joy of growth even in the midst of seeming sorrows.

In a pyramid a dark passageway filled with scorpions. (Chandra Symbol). Engaging in open-minded rapport with our animal self, we are drawn to those places within whose power needs to be integrated into our wholeness.

Oracle

It is not a machine that one needs so as to move at will through time, but only a realization. When we came here we promised to obey certain rules, one of them being that we would all move through time at the same time together – in a polite and orderly fashion. To break such a promise is well nigh impossible for most, for it would inevitably give rise to unendurable horror and guilt, that is, if one were to do it before moving through the doors of death first.

Actually, all this observation of protocol and strictness in adhering to rules is unnecessary, if one can simply do it in a silent, graceful manner, and preferably rather sharply, like a needle moving through a tapestry.

Virgo 18. A woman playing the didgeridoo. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Receptive

(Degree Angel: HAHEUIAH (ha-HOO-ee-YAH) Overcoming Jealousy, Protection

You have a tremendous amount of mental power and are able to direct it in a highly focused manner. Through your communication you express the force and power of life, and when you do so it has an elevating and expanding effect on the consciousness of other people. Ultimately, this also helps others to let go of their negative and insecure fixations on the past.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Eyeglasses which cause one to see rainbows.” This degree is about removing perceptual limits so that reality can be experienced more fully. This is always an uplifting experience. Depression and sorrow can only come from a limited view of the world, and so this degree bring hope to others through going beyond the usual narrow ways of viewing things. It allows one to experience the breath of life directly, just as the voice of the didgeridoo does.

Pleiadian Symbol: A sampler embroidered with letters and numbers subtly reveals the personality of its maker.

Azoth Symbol: Heavy, dark tools dirty with grease.

Seed degree: Libra 30. A small pale moon in the afternoon. (Omega Symbol). Aware of the emotional undercurrents flowing through all situations, we attune ourselves to them to help enhance and integrate their energy so that life's beauty is revealed more vividly.

Oracle

At dusk she sits in grasslands, her lungs awakening darkness in the hollow tube, while far to the south icebergs can hear her playing. She blows into a dark throat, her breath becoming shadow music. Birds and dust, and even stars remember the song. The twilight become lost for awhile, forgetting its way, pausing, waiting for the memory to return.

Virgo 19. A procession of dancers and musicians joyously moving through a forest. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Responsible

(Degree Angel: NITH-HAIAH (NIT-ha-YAH) Speak Your Mind, Spiritual Wisdom and Magic)

You are constantly aware of the inherent joy and wonder of life, and want others to always keep that in the forefront of their consciousness as well. Even when life is difficult and chaotic, with no end of troubles in sight, you have a strong knowing that if we can keep celebrate, eventually we will have more and more reason to do so.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A fire breathing dragon the size of a mouse.” Because all things are equal in the sight of God, there are no such things as details – everything is important. You often feel that certain things are of high significance which most other people deem to be of no consequence. What you need to do is not allow the value judgments of other people to cause you to question or deny your feelings. There is a deeper, spiritual reason why you feel these things to be important, and they need to be attended to in whatever manner you feel would be best.

One of the biggest problems here is that the more one focuses on small things the more one finds of them. And so there is a necessity to always be asking yourself which details are the most important to you, which are calling to you in the loudest and clearest voices.

Pleiadian Symbol: Youths riding the backs of dolphins.

Azoth Symbol: In an old house many rooms that have been shut up for years.

Seed degree: Scorpio 12. A woman with a collection of rocks shaped like hearts. (Omega symbol). Becoming aware of the different varieties of heaviness weighing down the heart, the healing power of our attention magically transforms into a joy which we feel a deep need to share.

A young man with a frail body, but a beautiful and noble face. (Chandra symbol). As we become more and more deeply identified with our spiritual ideals we are guided to find our own unique way to bring them into manifestation in the physical world.

Fulfillment degree: Aries 15. An hourglass in which the sand has become stuck. (Omega Symbol). The deep and full sharing of joy with others carries us beyond the limitations of time into the blissful realization of eternity.

A man with pointed ears. (Chandra Symbol). Acknowledging the minute, fire-breathing dragon, we learn to listen deeply to the promptings of spirit and the voices of nature.

Oracle

They leave music behind them as they progress, and the echoes of dances, a celebration rising in the forest, filling the trees with festival. What matters their destination, or if the forest has paths, or that there is no holiday or feast day which they celebrate? They revel, anyway and forever, feeding the forest with their festivities, propitiating the gods of joy in their forest temple, making the sunlight to laugh in the roots of the trees.

Virgo 20. Worshipers circumambulating a sacred stone. (Omega Symbol) Manifesting/Inspired

(Degree Angel: HAAIAH (HA-ee-YAH) Order From Chaos, Political Science and Ambition)

Though you can't always define it in a conscious or intellectual way, you sense the inherent meaning of life in a pure, direct manner. You know the magic of simplicity, and how focusing on it can bring everything into harmony. You accept what is, knowing that even if it seems at any moment completely undesirable it is there to encourage evolution.

The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “The expanse of the Himalayas in the distance.” This degree always keeps the cosmic aspect of reality in mind, and knows that there is an underlying spiritual foundation to everything. The question is whether this person feels connected to and able to work with those spiritual realities or experiences them as being at a distance and inaccessible.

To connect to such realities is not easy, for it means the unknown must be entered, risks taken, and experiments attempted, which could lead to the very real possibility of temporary failure. If fear of doing these things wins out, then the illusion of the remoteness and inaccessibility of these realms will be clung to, as a means of “playing it safe.” This will result in frustration and lack of fulfillment, until the path into the expanded realities of the unfamiliar is finally followed.

Pleiadian Symbol: A caravan of gypsies traveling across a vast prairie.

Azoth Symbol: A man crawling out through a hole in the top of his head.

Seed degree: Scorpio 24. Gold turning back into lead. (Omega Symbol). Having experienced the completeness of cycles, we turn our attention away from their processes and toward the center of pure consciousness around which they all evolve.

Coca bushes growing wild in the Andes Mountains. (Chandra Symbol). What we need to survive and to thrive is always near at hand. Realizing this helps us to stay focused on spiritual realities.

Fulfillment degree: Taurus 15. A platinum crucible. (Omega Symbol). Focusing on the truth that the spiritual is always manifesting in physical reality, we become increasingly receptive to the creativity and inspiration of the spiritual light,

His best friend sings a song at his funeral. (Chandra Symbol). Knowing that even though spiritual realities may appear to us as distant, we are inspired to tune in to them and to realize that they are, in fact, right here – we dwell in them – and may tune in to them to help us through all transformations and to inspire others.

Oracle

The destination is the stone, but the way is forever around it, the stone never reached until it is found – a jewel in the heart.
