(140) Omega/Chandra Synmbols: Scorpio 11 - 15
Phase 45. The Power of Prosperity (Samech Aleph Lamed)
Angel: SEHALIAH (say-HA-lee-YAH) Motivation and Willfulness
Scorpio 11. Shadows of trees lying over a vast lawn. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Experimental
(Degree Angel: MAHASIAH (mah-HA-see-YAH) Healing, Rectification)
Everywhere death and darkness are integrated into life, and life accepts them as part of itself – so why shouldn't we? Knowledge manifests in an endless number of forms and through an endless number of vehicles. We walk into and through it every day. This degree mirrors the beautiful and vast complexities living within simplicity.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Gnarled twisted trees against an overcast sky.” Trees symbolize knowledge, and here without leaves the knowledge has been stripped down to its core ideas. The overcast sky means the Sun, which is the conscious self, is obscured, thereby allowing the more intuitive feminine side to come forth. Note that it is not “Gnarled twisted trees against a full moon.” which would signify the feminine in full force. Instead there is daylight – elsewise we wouldn't see the trees.
The trees may be dead, but they also may be dormant. Either they will leaf out into new manifestations of knowledge, or if dead will rot and fall – which will also allow new manifestations of knowledge to grow, but in a more complete way – that is, from the root.
Either this degree gets hung up on the dreariness of the scene, or knows that all barrenness is part of a process of cyclic change, and so is to be welcomed as a prelude to a re-flowering. At any rate, this degree can have an acute intuitive sensitivity to poverty in all its forms and what it has to teach.
Pleiadian Symbol: Dolphins carrying a shipwrecked man to safety.
Azoth Symbol: The spirits of cats roaming in the night.

A young woman sits at a piano and improvises beautiful music. (Chandra Symbol). Spontaneously expressing what is within us we come to perceive both our inner clarity and inner cloudiness.
Fulfillment degree: Leo 19. A painting is cleaned, revealing colors of otherworldly beauty. (Omega Symbol). Perceiving the workings of higher realms in this one we are able to cast off anything which occludes our brightness.
A hummingbird feeding at a trumpet vine. (Chandra Symbol). Perceiving our own lack, and our state of being cut off from higher forces impels us to seek out the specific energies that will nourish us.
Oracle
On the estate of Shandar to the north of Peth is a vast treeless lawn that was, in centuries past admired for the great size and comely shape of its ancient trees, which eventually died. It is said that sometimes in early spring, before other trees have leafed out, that the shadows of these long dead trees may still be seen on sunny days, covering the lawn, and that the finer upper limbs may even be seen to be moving gently in the wind.
It is in a like way that forms existing in higher realms may sometimes cast their shadows into this one, so that we may know of their nature by indirection.
Scorpio 12. A woman with a collection of rocks shaped like hearts. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Sensitive
(Degree Angel: LELAHEL (LAY-la-HEL) Dream State, Light of Understanding)
This degree is looking for something – a repeated pattern in reality, a synchronicity. And it will find it. The question is, what does it mean? And why is it sought? When the hardness of the heart is cleared, meaning can then flow through all of reality. Our obsessions are our hard places – and we need to follow them until they yield their secrets.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A young man with a frail body, but a beautiful and noble face.” The contrast between “heart” and “stone” in the Omega Symbol mirrors he contrast between “beautiful and noble face” and “frail body” in the Chandra Symbol. This degree is always aware of the difference between what the most spiritual aspect of the self wants, versus the limitations imposed on those desires by the physical world. The challenge of this degree is to not allow the physical limits to dominate, and also not to retreat from the physical world. Spirit can transform matter, and even though the task may often seem arduous, it is of tremendous benefit both to spirit as well as matter.
Pleiadian Symbol: On a platform in the sky two people are waltzing.
Azoth Symbol: Rising through earth, water, and air, a traveler is exploring.
Seed degree: Leo 20. An herb which if over-consumed, causes one to die of laughter. (Omega Symbol). To flee emotions too often by retreating to the realm of laughter can have a petrifying effect on the emotional body. Conversely, laughter engaged in therapeutically helps to tune us in to the hearts' burdens so they may be cast off.
A black pearl hidden in an oyster. (Chandra Symbol). To contact with wisdom hidden within creates in us an identification with our spiritual self.
Fulfillment degree: Taurus 20. A man performing a complicated weaving pattern from memory. (Omega Symbol). We gather together those things which hold meaning from us, and eventually we are able to synthesize them into a completeness.
A fork in the road with a blank signpost. (Chandra Symbol). Identification with the spiritual self provides us with an inner direction that can overcome all outer confusions as to where we should go.
Oracle
Every day she wandered the forests of Aab and searched for heart-shaped rocks. And the rocks knew they were sought, and wanted to be with her, so would call to her without her consciously hearing them, and guide her footsteps to the places where they waited.
And after many years , when her house was filled with heart-shaped rocks of many colors and sizes there came a turning point – a dream in which she heard the forest speaking to her, telling her that the time of giving had come.
And so the next morning she took a few of her rocks with her, and entering the forest asked of it where she must go, and which rock to choose, to find the perfect place for it, so that the heart of the forest might be rekindled and magnified for others who would come there to partake of its magic.
Daily she took more rocks with her into the forest, and each day felt the forest awakening more and more, and the presence of more spirits, who had come to bask in the forest's newfound life.
In several years her work was complete, her house empty of rocks, the forest filled with new magic.
In later times they called her Anara of the Heart, for like a heart she had received, and given.
Scorpio 13: An acupuncturist who activates points simply by holding a needle above them. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Receptive
(Degree Angel: ACHAIAH (a-KA-hee-YAH) DNA of the Soul, Patience)
Here is a tremendous subtlety that is empowered by intent and instinct. This degree is very gentle, and carries much healing energy. It has an ability to clearly and acutely identify where energy is being disrupted by blockages, and knows instinctively that the direct and/or overt approach to clearing these is often what won't work. There are other ways – always – and this degree is privy to them.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Someone tells a joke and no one laughs.” This image begs the question, “What happens next?” One possible scenario is that the person who told the joke feels abashed, ridiculous, even guilty, or inappropriate. Another scenario is that the person tries another joke and sees if the other people will like that one. Or maybe jokes are forgotten and the subject is changed altogether.
This is a “try it and see” degree.
Pleiadian Symbol: An alchemist reworking a formula.
Azoth Symbol: The voice of one deceased is heard in the stillness.

Young boys picking and eating cherries off a tree. (Chandra Symbol). When one does not get the reinforcement one expects from the outside world, new, simple and joyous means are found with which to connect with others.
Oracle
( From Usar the Variable's book “Cities of the Iridar.”): It is known of certain acupuncturists of the city of Saalem on the Iridar river that they possess needles of fine crystal in which live the 72,000 solar color beings called “Those of the Rainbow.” And that by simply holding the tip of these needles above certain places on the surface of the body these beings perceive what is needed of them and enter into the body of the one being healed, penetrating it as a exceedingly fine and unseen radiance, which is perceived only by certain seers trained to do so, and that this light moves and shimmers through the sick one as it seeks out shadows, discords and other plagues, thereby returning to the spirit its ascendancy over those fleshly illusions.
Scorpio 14. A white marble foot glows pink as it turns into flesh. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Responsible
(Degree Angel: CAHETEL (KA-heh-TEL) Defusing Negative Energy, Divine Blessings)
Understanding is only cold and impersonal when it is fueled by fear. When it is combined with the heat of love it comes alive, is released from its limits, and is renewed. This degree is about waking up, and waking others up, especially waking them to what they already know but have forgotten, and waking them to their connection with the whole universe.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “Women dressed in black. They are wailing and mourning.” The fact that there is more than one woman in the symbol signifies the giving and receiving of support in the process of mourning. If this process is deeply and fully engaged in it will lead to the rebirth signified by the Omega Symbol of this degree. What is of critical importance to realize here is that if the act of mourning is not deep and full enough it might must become a habit, a place where one becomes stuck. Completely submerging oneself in the act of mourning, though, as signified by the fact that the woman are clothed in black, is what will cause one to be able to release it and move on to renewal, as signified by the “rope going up into the sky” of the fulfillment degree.
Pleiadian Symbol: A sacred runner carrying a message to the mountains.
Azoth Symbol: An astrologer looking for a major conjunction of planets.
Seed degree: Virgo 14. A collection of diamonds of many different colors. (Omega Symbol). Being able to turn any energy into something positively has a deeply enlivening effect on whatever one creates.
A long steel screw. (Chandra Symbol). Strong and deep attachments eventually lead to mourning until they are released.
Fulfillment degree: Scorpio 19. An angel kisses a man while he sleeps. (Omega Symbol). When we soften our consciousness so that we may perceive that everything is alive, we are visited by and receive the love of the angels.
A rope going up into the sky. (Chandra Symbol). When we share our grief wit others in a complete way, we lighten ourselves so much and create such a connection with the divine that we are able to rise above the heaviness of the physical world.

Hindar's famous Sculpture “The Dryad of Menum” was a portrait of Enard Travaal's love, Deralia, who had died tragically, struck down by a meteor. Every year many come to witness in the Museum of Peth the foot of the statue turning pink on the anniversary of Deralia's death as it comes to life, often the toes wiggling and stretching before the foot one's again turns back into marble.
The Historian Renad Fazar has pointed out that in Travaal's diaries he mentions that in his palace this statue was displayed on a high pedestal, and that frequently Travaal would kiss the foot of it, his love, Fazar supposes, accumulating there and over time imbuing the statue with a faint life.
Scorpio 15. Intently and faithfully a man observes his own breath. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Inspired
(Degree Angel: HAZIEL (HA-zee-EL) Angelic Influences, Divine Mercy and Forgiveness)
The greatest creative act is to merge with the present moment as it moves through time. To be in the present is to be in the process of letting go, because what we hold onto is always the past, or a fear bracing against the impact of the future. And letting go is death, the joyous relief of dying, which must be embraced if we are to live fully. This is the wisdom of Scorpio 15.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A woman with a gold tooth.” Defects and weaknesses when finally and completely worked through become strengths. The tooth has decayed, but the decayed part is replaced by something more perfect than the original tooth. This degree is about embracing one's own weaknesses and vulnerabilities, and realizing that they are not just something one has to live with, but can be overcome, especially if one is willing to be patient and attentive, as the man of the corresponding Omega Symbol.
Pleiadian Symbol: Inside an hourglass children playing.
Azoth Symbol: A man seeking the truth behind a complex and confusing situation.
Seed degree: Virgo 26. Under the full moon, a sagging balcony. (Omega Symbol). When we instinctively perceive that which is no longer supporting us, it impels us to come vividly into the present so as to re-engage ourselves with our own life force.
An old man counting gold coins. (Chandra Symbol). Carefully assessing what it is we posess, we attempt to use it to heal and balance ourselves.
Fulfillment degree: Sagittarius 19. An old, abandoned garden, everything under a blanket of ivy. (Omega Symbol). Through living more and more completely in the moment we learn to allow much of life to live itself without our manipulation or intervention.
A monstrous sea creature dead, washed up on the beach. (Chandra Symbol). When we work to overcome our weaknesses and heal and balance ourselves, the process of doing so automatically brings up everything in ourselves that we need to make contact with.

He followed his breath as it wandered in and out of his body. It explored him like an unknown country, a breath without memory, for every moment it was born anew.
